What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.- Morpheus 😎

As Alopecia Awareness month comes to an end I would like to share what Alopecia means to me.
I have had Alopecia for almost 10 years now and it has definitely helped shape me to be the person I am today. Unapologetic, unfiltered, and unbothered. I struggled for years to gain confidence within myself and the version of beauty I portrayed. I didn’t see beauty in myself and couldn’t imagine that anyone else did. I was afraid of rejection or being judged based on how I looked and that sucked. About 2-3 years ago was when I finally accepted myself for who I was and it didn’t matter to me what people thought of me. I knew I was beautiful. Everyone is in their own special way. And after I reached that point of acceptance there was no turning back for me. Everyday I gain a little bit more confidence in myself and love. Alopecia taught me that it doesn’t matter about the exterior and what people might think about yours. What matters is what’s inside.
Thank you for letting me be apart of this awesome project 💙

This September is Alopecia Awareness month! And as you all know, this cause its pretty close to my heart.
This year’s Alopecia photo collective was AMAZING and we cannot wait to share the photos with you all!
The photos will be on display at our Alopecia Benefit Concert happening this September 29th! Our goal is to fundraise $5,000 for research and to help find a cure.
Proceeds will be donated to ➡️ The National Alopecia Areata Foundation.
We will definitely share more information over the next few weeks. But for now:
🔵 Save the date!
🔵 Make plans to attend the concert & art showcase

Just another day. I personally don’t feel the need to celebrate such a day in a country that’s supposedly free. ✌🏽🤷🏽♀️💀
