It’s been a very long hiatus. My last post here was November 19th, 2024. Between 2024 and 2025 I went through a series of losses that were very difficult to process at the same time. I lost my grandma in July, my ex-husband in December, and one of my dear kitty companions in May. And not to mention the constant stress of year one of this admin. I gave myself grace and took some time off of my business for all of 2025. I haven’t touched anything in that time.

I’ve had a lot of people ask me if I was/am planning on doing any markets. Last year was a hell no. But this year is a maybe? Possibly? I’ve been feeling clearer and more regulated as time goes on and the thought of a market finally sounds fun again instead of daunting. This little soap making project, regardless of how it may seem, is barely profitable, so if I’m not having fun - what’s the point?

I’ve been thinking about how every year I want to do a full Pride collection. Instead of jumping into bulk restocking, I’m going to finally focus on making it happen! I already carry my rainbow Emerald Agave and Bi Pride Lavender Sage as staples and I’ve dabbled with making a Trans and Pan Pride soap. Those 4 are definitely on the docket, but I’d also like to do a NB, Ace, and possibly Gay and Le***an. Eight is an endeavor, but how cool would it be to see them all together.

I’m making no promises to returning full force in the small biz world, but this specific goal is a good place to start and dip my toes back in. It’s hard to believe I started all of this 8 years ago when I was 24.
