Sometimes it lasts for a few seconds other times almost up to a minute. The longer ones are very scary. In the past year I have had 2 frightening events.

I was sitting in the living room when it began... I believe this was the worst one yet. I was getting scared and ready to call 911 when I saw the Sonic Slider on the table.

Sonic Slider Bone Density Study with the Institute for Noetic Sciences (IONS)

I am very pleased to announce that our fundraising efforts for this endeavor have been very successful (Thank you to all of you who bought a raffle ticket or are bidding at the auction that is closing this week and next week!) - and that the study is now underway.

IONS has partnered with a bone density testing clinic that has multiple locations in Chicago - they sent out a recruitment email and received 60 responses in the first 5 minutes, so we have no shortage of volunteers for it 🙂

Each of the 30 participants will receive a Sonic Slider tuning fork and my 21 day series of 7 minute videos leading people through a daily routine of using it. They will get a bone density scan at the beginning, repeat it twice a day for 42 days, and then get another bone density scan at the end.

Additionally, at the beginning they will answer a series of questionaires that inquire as to their mental, emotional, physical and spritual well being and experience. They will also answer the same questions at the end of the 42 days.

So not only will we obtain documented evidence of whether or not the mechanical stimulation of the tuning fork actually does increase bone density (I suspect it might), we will also be able to see how regular usage impacts a person's overall state as well.

This is a very exciting study and I am grateful to IONS for putting it together so easily and readily and I am kind of amazed that it is actually already happening!
