On the 23rd of January 2026, I married the love of my life. After 15 years of glamming up my beautiful brides, it was finally my turn, and my heart still feels overwhelmed thinking about it.

It was the most beautiful and emotional day of my life. Seeing our parents there, witnessing my husband’s mum show up with so much strength and love despite her terminal illness, having our precious doggos by our side, and being surrounded by our friends, family, and incredible vendors reminded me just how lucky we are. Every moment felt sacred, emotional, and unforgettable.

This wedding also came with some of the hardest lessons of my life. Five days before my wedding, after months of stress during wedding prep and years of witnessing harmful behaviour not only towards others but eventually towards me, I made the heartbreaking but necessary decision to cut off my toxic best friend. I didn’t want drama.

I planned to slowly distance myself after the wedding just to keep the peace, but deep down I knew I deserved better. I am so grateful I chose myself before walking down the aisle.

I want every one of my brides to know this. You are never obligated to have a snake standing beside you on your wedding day just to avoid drama or keep appearances. Your wedding day should be filled with love, safety, peace, and people who genuinely want the best for you. Choosing yourself is not selfish. It is powerful.

I am endlessly grateful for my maid of honour and bridesmaids, women I proudly call my sisters for life. Women who love me deeply, protect me fiercely, and stood by me with nothing but pure intentions and open hearts.

This day was about love, growth, courage, and new beginnings. I will carry it with me for the rest of my life 🤍✨
