Mondays to Fridays
10AM to 4PM

BIG NEWS!
After several months searching for daycare for Lennon, we finally found a wonderful placement for her. That’s the good news!
The unfortunate news it is only 2 days a week till March 2024

So I am excited to tell all my wonderful and patient clients that I am available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 4pm. Once March comes I’m back 5 days a week!!

Hi Everyone...
Just wanted my clients to know that I do plan on reopening 'Locks' just as soon as I can find a safe and appropriate daycare for our sweet babe who is 10 months old now. I have had a wonderful time with her and am thoroughly enjoying my maternity leave.

I want to ask you to please get in touch with me if you hear of any reputable private daycare openings in the Kemptville area. I am on several lists but they are long lists. Daycare availability is almost not existent, but I am hoping something comes up. The sooner that can happen, the sooner I get to see you all. I miss you! 🌞

Just a little note to let everyone know that baby girl Lennon arrived safely into our family circle late on September 1st. We are beyond thrilled. Thank you for all your good wishes and lovely gifts. I truly have the best clients. 💗💗

Dear Clients.
Just a personal request. By now we have all heard that Ontario’s mask mandate is to be lifted March 21st. I know it’s been a very long two years and this news is more than welcome by most people.
Here at ‘Locks by Leah’ my family and I have made the decision to continue wearing masks in the salon. My reasons for doing this are twofold, I want to protect my young son who is not vaccinated and attends a daycare with other young unvaccinated children, and we are expecting a new child in September, so I do not want to jeopardize either my or the baby’s health.

So please continue to bring and wear a mask at future appts. I will let clients know when I feel it is safe to come without one. Thank you again for your understanding.

Season’s Greetings…

I wanted to take a minute the thank all my ‘Locks’ clients for their continued patronage this past year. It has been a trying time for many of us, and a learning curve none of us expected! One of the detriments COVID has brought with it is inflation. The cost of doing business in many service industries, including mine, has risen. Product prices have been increasing over the last 18 months.
For this reason I have to increase my prices by 10%, effective January 1st. If you already have an existing appt, the cost remains as is. All new appts starting January 1st 2022 will increase. I am hopeful you understand. Thank you!

Announcement May 20th 2021

Premier Doug Ford has announced a “gradual” three-step roadmap for Ontario to reopen.

Hair cuts and other personal care services will be delayed until 70 per cent of adults have had at least one shot of vaccine and 20 per cent are fully vaccinated.

Looks like LOCKS will remain closed till at least end of June. Feel like pulling your hair out by the roots?? I do..
