Hi love! I’m Erica Barnes, your favorite affirmation loving, positive energy believing Lash Artist in Wickenburg, Arizona. 🏜️ I am a mom of two, I have a 11 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. I was born in Illinois, but raised in Phoenix. When I was 19, I was introduced to this super good looking guy named Zach who was a freshman at ASU who held doors for me and bought tacos for my best friend and I. We didn’t have guys like him in Phoenix, and I loved how different he was from them. A month after meeting him, he brought my bestfriend and I to his home town, Wickenburg, and introduced us to his family & friends and I fell in love. It was a completely different atmosphere then what I was used to in north Phoenix. We ended up falling in love, got married in 2012 and then went on to have two beautiful babies together. In 2021 we decided to leave the suburbs and raise our kids the small town way in Wickenburg. I still miss the city life, but raising our kids this way has been unmatched. I want to thank each and every one of you for being here and following my journey as I embark on my dream of being in the beauty industry. I am so grateful for this beautiful life of mine, and I want to shout out my husband who has believed in me & supported me in every way since day one. ✨💖

Big news! ✨ After lots of manifesting and dreaming, I’m moving into my very own private lash room - right in the same plaza as Barrels n’ Curls where I’m currently at, but in suite number 7! 💫 This new space is going to be such a vibe, and I can’t wait for my clients to experience it with me. I’m aiming to start taking appointments in the new room starting September 23. With this move, I’ll also be expanding my schedule! I really should have snapped a better photo of this set! But as usual, I only remembered to take a picture right before she left. “How often do I need to come in for fills?” That answer can vary! After your first appointment, I recommend coming back in 2 weeks. If you’re taking very good care of your lashes by following proper aftercare and are having great retention, then after your first fill we can hopefully extend your fills to every 3 weeks. But it’s also up to you & your lifestyle! If you like them super full looking all the time, your best bet is every 2 weeks.

Hi! I’m Erica Barnes, the owner and registered lash artist of High Vibe Lashes. I was born in McHenry, Illinois but I was raised in Phoenix. I met my Wickenburg raised husband, Zach, 17 years ago. If you’re from here, you more than likely know someone from my Barnes family. They are pretty amazing people who always loved their community. We have been married for 12 years. I am a mother to two. My kids are 10 & 8. After COVID, we decided to move out of the Litchfield Park suburbs and raise our kids the small town way. I started working at a beauty salon in Phoenix when I was 17. I fell in love with it. I ended up signing up for beauty school, but I wasn’t confident in myself and I dropped out after one bad haircut while I was on the floor. I always knew if given the chance again, I would go back to school and get my license. My husband and I decided I would hold off on my dream, and raise our babies so that’s what I’ve been doing. One of my biggest passions has been the aesthetician side of cosmetology, I wanted to focus on skin & lashes. I met Heather with Beauty Secrets Academy YEARS ago, and I have truly adored her. She’s one of the top in the lash industry. She’s an amazing, kind & incredibly hard working business owner, wife & mama. Even though she’s a little younger than me, I really look up to her. She’s the epitome of a good person. I knew if I went back to beauty school, I would want Heather to be my lash instructor.

Now, just a warning, here’s a little bit of a sad part to my backstory. I lost my beloved mother back in February of 2024. She’s been dealing with health struggles since I was a teenager, but she was always the strongest woman I’ve ever met as she went through countless surgeries and always came back stronger than before. She always believed in me even when I didn’t. I’m not sure if you’re one to believe in signs from those you have lost, but after she passed I had sign after sign coming in that felt like my mama was telling me something.

Shortly after she passed, I found out that AZ had approved a new regulation that you could do lashes without a license, as long as you completed a state approved training program. I finally started paying attention to all those signs, and it felt like my mom was telling me I needed to sign up for this course. I started researching the program and found out that Heathers academy was in the process of becoming a state approved training program, so I reached out to her and immediately got on the waiting list. Once they were approved & opened registration, I immediately signed up! I am so happy to have gone through the training with two amazing instructors, Alyssa & Heather, and to FINALLY be back into my true love of the beauty industry. If you’re still reading this, firstly kudos, and I want to thank you all for being here on my lash journey. I promise to make my lash space, your safe place. A place where you depart feeling cherished, radiant and deserving of life’s abundance. ✨ For me, lashes always made me feel confident. I could wake up in the morning, put on some foundation and blush and I was ready to go and really felt good about myself. I may be new to the world of lashing but committed to giving my all. It's only up from here. 🤍
