Wow! It’s crazy how fast 27 weeks have came and went! ⠀
⠀⠀
In the beginning I thought December would never arrive and 2018 would be the longest year of my life waiting on this little bundle of joy. Now I find myself in a little of a panic thinking about all the things I have to do before his arrival in just 13 short weeks. ⠀
⠀⠀
So far pregnancy has been amazing! And I’m hoping delivery goes the same. Speaking of...Moms, what are your favorite baby books you read while pregnant? We leave for our babymoon Wednesday so mommy needs some good reads. Let me know below 👇

Who else is embracing all things Fall?!
🍁🎃🍂☕️

It’s still 90 degrees here in Alabama, but that’s not stopping me from digging out all my Fall decor, flannels, and pumpkin spice everything! This is my favorite time of year and I’m sooo glad it’s here!

People keeping asking me about my energy level while pregnant, “I don’t know how u’ve stayed so active?”, “Aren’t you tired all the time?” No I feel great! My top priority right now is me and little man! That means making time every day to workout (30mins) and make sure my nutrition is on point for both of us. It seems so simple but it’s made a huge difference!

I’m planning to continue my workouts throughout my pregnancy. If I can do these workout at so can you! Join me for my Fit for Fall virtual bootcamp! We kickoff Monday Sept 24th and we’ll wrap up Nov 16th the week before Thanksgiving. We’ll workout 4 days a week, have a cheat meal day, and tone up and slim down before the holidays. GRATEFUL! This is exactly how I feel about this amazing body of mine.🤗 now, this isn’t you typical transformation photo...the pic on the left is my before 😂. ⠀

In the first photo I was making great strides with my new lifestyle! I was so proud of myself! I was about 40 days into my latest fitness program, eating healthy, and loving my new gains! I was working so hard and I was seeing results. Little did I know it was around this same time that my body was working super hard to conceive a new life! ⠀

Fast forward 5 months...to today! I’m 21 weeks pregnant with my baby boy! And I’ve been able to continue my healthy lifestyle. I had no idea when I started this journey that I would receive such a blessing. Wes and I had worked for years (4) to have children. Infertility treatments left me drained and exhausted and I was desperate to take back control of my health! ⠀

So how do I stay motivated and on track while pregnant? ⠀

1. I follow a planned program and workout from home. Not having to leave my house to workout definitely helps me stick to the plan. ⠀

2. I incorporate rest days to let my body recover...my current program is perfect for pregnancy! Workout 4 day/week with 3 rest days. On my rest days I’m incorporating prenatal yoga to stay limber for delivery. ⠀

3. I have a group of ladies that keep me accountable to my workouts daily. ⠀

4. I follow a meal plan! Now let me be clear...I am not concerned with gaining too much weight. I want to gain the right amount for Baby. I don’t believe that pregnancy is an excuse to eat whatever u want whenever u want. You actually only need an additional 300 calories a day during 2nd trimester. I practice eating clean...whole natural foods are giving me and Baby he best nutrition. ⠀

My current program is great for anyone. Lifting weights and incorporating high intensity interval training to build muscle, tone up, and shred fat! Daily workouts (30mins a day), 4 days/week, meal plan, and accountability to stick to your goals. New challenge group kicks off Monday Aug 20th, let’s do it together!

That’s exactly how I’m feeling these days! I mean...hello 👋, I’m busy creating life over here! I’m in absolute amazement at what my body is capable of! And I have never been so grateful for this temple!

I was blessed to escape morning sickness (not a single day of sickness through this entire pregnancy), and I’ve been able to workout every day! This new Lift and HIIT program released at the perfect time! I am loving that I get 4 great workouts with 3 active rest days (I’ve been enjoying some prenatal yoga on those days to keep me limber), a flexible meal plan that allows me to indulge in a pregnancy craving once a week, and this amazing group of ladies holding me accountable to a healthy/fit pregnancy. ⠀

Ya’ll this bump is out of control! But I’ve never been so happy to have a growing belly! Growing belly=Growing Baby 👶🏼

We’ve been together 19weeks so far. And I am truly amazed at what a woman body is capable of. While my pregnancy has been a breeze so far, I’d be lying if I said that embracing the new curves of my body has been easy. While I’m forever grateful for the life growing inside me, being excited about the changes on the outside does bring a little anxiety.

I’m focusing on my health, my nutrition, and my fitness during this stage of life. I am so thankful for my new program, that allows me and my new workout partner 4 great workouts, and 3 rest days. I’m also able to indulge a little with a treat meal. I mean…pregnancy cravings are real ya’ll!
