A super simple lower face rejuvenation on this case in the form of;

Lip enhancement, simply to give them a sprinkle of that magic

Chin and pre jowl, here the goal was to enhance the feminine structure of the lower face whilst being mindful not to strip the individuality away

Marionette airbrushing, does what it says on the tin. Simple and elegant, the cherry on the cake 🎂

Dermal fillers in your late 20’s - mid 30’s

Such a sweet spot for volume replacement treatments!

This age range is really the first time we begin to notice age related volume loss, or even changes to our face at all!

Why is it such a sweet spot? A few reasons -

1️⃣ Your skin still has tons of collagen, it’s bouncy and plump (even if you don’t think it is). This is great in helping to disguise dermal filler

2️⃣ It’s easy to replace lost volume when only a small amount has been lost

3️⃣ Often we’re treating simpler things, slight shadows here and there, small structural changes.

It’s definitely the easier age range to treat, but that’s doesn’t mean things should get sloppy. Stay precise, yield the results 🪄

There’s plenty of misinformation around dermal fillers online, it’s time to bring a little bit of clarity.

Every area of every face has a pretty specific safe capacity for dermal fillers, whilst we can’t tell exactly what this capacity is simply by looking, it becomes clearer how much product is needed upon injecting.

To put it simply, some areas of some faces need a little more product than others to achieve the desired outcome.

I’ve done a full face rejuvenation using only 1.5mls (admittedly this is incredibly rare and we were working with almost zero facial fat) and I’ve also done 13+mls in one session.

This is the tailored nature of these treatments, sticking within anatomical limits is the key to avoid ‘stretching’

Midface - 0.4mls of high density filler onto the front part of the cheek

Pyriforms - 0.3mls of high density filler both sides, this lifts out the structure of the nasolabial fold from beneath (keeping the dermal filler hidden!)

Lips - 0.4mls of soft filler to refine and rejuvenate

Chin & pre jowl - 1.2mls of structural filler to sculpt and restore the feminine jawline

Marionette airbrushing - the cherry on the cake when it comes to refining the lower face, adding structure to the corners of the mouth and softening area
