Its sooo good to be home. Getting lots of love from my fur baby, my man, sleeping in my OWN bed and being in my sweet house feels so good.❤️

Our last day in Seattle was super sweet.❤ Sophie and Elias and I took a ferry over to Bainbridge Island, had lunch, walked all around and visited the art museum (I especially loved the art by George Tsutakawa.) It was really nice to have some alone time with my kiddos and explore with them.🙌🥰 When we got back over to Seattle we took the big wheel which is of course very touristy but quite beautiful. For our last night my aunt and uncle took us out to a really nice seafood restaurant for dinner. Then Elias and I drove Sophia back to her base an hour away, and it was brutal saying goodbye. I cried on the drive home, it’s always so hard to say goodbye to her especially since she’s in the army and I never know when I will see her again and I know the hardships she endures which is hard on my mama’s heart.💞👩‍👧‍👦 But we had a wonderful trip with family and each other. It was full and special and hard to say goodbye but also so good to come home. ❤️

Day 4 in Seattle was full and wonderful. We went to the Dale Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit with Karen and kiddos by the Seattle Center which was stunning! It was so interesting to watch the movies all about his beautiful art installations in Jerusalem, Italy, and Finland, how the glass is made and displayed and the impetus and vision behind much of his work. Then we met my cousin Deana Jirak for thai food and catching up. Then we headed over to the Seattle Needle where we met our cousin Rosie Gustafson and waited in a super long to go up the elevator to the top. I know it’s super touristy and probably silly but I absolutely loved being at the top and looking out at the beautiful city of Seattle and beyond. It truly is a stunning view and I have never done it any of my chips over the years so it was fun to do… Afterwards we went to pikes place market for more sightseeing and of course a visit to the disgusting gum wall lol.. Then we had a wonderful dinner with my aunt Karen and uncle Bill, cousin Deanna, cousin Ian and the kids. We ate wonderful food, incredible dessert, drank wine, talked for hours, shared so many stories and memories and made new ones. It was truly a wonderful day with the family!❤️

These last few days in Seattle were a BLISS! But let me get back to Day 2.... gorgeous boat cruise with my aunt Karen where we learned lots of cool Seattle history, iced coffee at Chocolati Cafe, walk around gorgeous Wallingford neighborhood, fish chips at Ivars by the water and beautiful beach sunset. A perfect summer day in Seattle 🧡🤗☀️
