What’s going through my mind when I play tennis: my coach’s voice reminding me to LOAD 😂🎾
Today I learned that “loading” happens in two parts:
Upper-body loading means turning the shoulders and coiling the torso to prepare for the stroke. This stores rotational energy so I’m not relying only on my arm to generate power.
Lower-body loading means bending the knees and sitting slightly into the quads, hips and glutes. This helps me stay grounded, push through the floor and transfer power from my legs into the stroke.
When both work together, the movement becomes a proper kinetic chain: legs → hips → torso → shoulders → racket. That’s what makes the stroke feel smoother, stronger and more controlled.
Big shoutout to Coach Darren for always giving me emotional support while correcting my mistakes immediately. Being able to understand the problem and adjust it in my very next stroke really helps me learn and adapt faster 🥹

“Why do you run a female community? For the fame?”
I’ve thought about this a lot.
I started fem. with a simple vision: to help more women begin their wellness journey and make it feel more accessible, fun, and safe.
Make it joyful.
Make it welcoming.
Make it something you actually look forward to.
Because wellness doesn’t have to be intimidating or expensive.
Sometimes, you just need the right space, the right people, and the right moment to start.
And if fem. can be that first step for someone — her first yoga class, first run, first pickleball game, or even just showing up alone and leaving with a new friend — then it’s already meaningful.
And fame?
Yes, I do want fem. to be known.
Because the more people who know us, the more women we can reach.
More visibility means more partners, more opportunities, and more experiences we can bring back to the community.
More events.
More things to try.
More chances for women to move, meet, and grow together.
So if “fame” means a bigger platform to create more value for women, then yes — I’ll take it.
Because value isn’t always money.
Sometimes it’s finding a movement you love.
Sometimes it’s doing something you never thought you would.
Sometimes it’s confidence, laughter, friendships, or just joy you take home.
And years later, you won’t remember the cost — but you’ll remember how you felt, who you met, and who you became.
Building a community is tiring. There are days I question everything 😂
But then I see women showing up, trying new things, laughing, making friends, coming back again…
And I remember why I started.
Tired? Very.
Satisfied? Even more. ❤️
Still building. Still learning. Still trying to make wellness more joyful and accessible for every woman who finds her way to us. 🤍

Movement has always been more than just a workout for me. 🤍
