Getting the day started with an all over color with the prettiest girl

I had a fun little day with my client!! She asked for little glimmers of lived in pink highlights and a hidden raccoon tail!! It turned out amazing and she was so sweet!!

✨ Welcome to the colored side ✨

🎀Client goal- My client wanted a complete change. She wanted vivids with a rainbow underneath, but not hidden. She also wanted multiple inches cut off with layers.
🎀What I did- First I had to do an all over bleach so I could get her to a brighter blonde to make the vivid colors brighter. I used 20 volume with Redkin’s bleach. After that processed and was at the level I wanted we washed her out and started applying the color. I sectioned out the money pieces in the front and did an ombré rainbow. Using Pravana’s color line starting with pink and ending in a bright blue. I then took the back and did the same ombré layout with the vivids. Lastly, I took the top portion and dyed it with the bright purple!! After I let it sit I washed it out and we did a good chop. I cut off 7 inches, added face framing, and 45 degree layers! I gave her a good blow dry, curled her hair, and she was ready to go!
🎀Techniques used-
* Balayage free hand painting technique to get the ombré color effect with the vivid colors.
* Forty five degree layers because she wanted short layers at the bottom but also wanted everyone to be able to see the rainbow effect coming out of the bottom.
* Bouncy blow out
* Curling iron curls on the parts that needed it.
🎀Challenges- My challenge was being able to wash the color out without getting it on other parts of the hair. I was very nervous that the purple would bleed onto the rainbow when washing.
🎀Final result- Very bright and vibrant semi-hidden rainbow with layers and an amazing cut!!!
🎀Maintenance- Make sure to wash your hair with cold water and only wash one to two times a week. Use a soft shampoo without a lot of chemicals. Limit the amount of heat you use, and always protect your hair from chlorine and the sun. I will see them in the next 3-6 weeks for a touch up!!!
