I emplore you…..friends - life is too short to settle. Surround yourself with people who believe in you more than you believe in yourself, not just personally but professionally too! This makes all the difference in the world. You belong to be poured into! You are worthy! You are enough!

When life gives you basil, make margaritas!

Back when I was a part of the advisory team I spoke with an Oola Coach turned Ambassador who desires to stay anonymous but who wanted to share what they did. They thought it might inspire us all. I got the details and wrote this for them.

The other day this coach finally got an opportunity to give the young women in the picture an Oola for Women book. The coach had spoken with this woman in a local coffee house weeks prior to this picture. The coach had what they described as a gnawing “God” tug on their heart to talk with her. This was awkward for them because they didn’t know her. The coach gently approached her with their mask on and simply said these words, “I do not know what you will think about this, but I feel I am supposed to tell you this. God wants you to know you are made to do and be so much more than what you are currently doing. You have value and you are not forgotten.” Then, the coach stopped almost holding their breath, not knowing what would be the response.

The woman smiled through her mask. She thanked the coach so much. She said, “What you said to me has answered the questions I have been asking myself ”. They both parted ways. The woman left feeling more whole, but the coach felt incomplete. They still felt prompted to do more. They knew what they were supposed to do, they got an Oola for Women book to give her the next time they saw her.

This coach visited that coffee house carrying that book for several weeks believing by faith that they would meet someday soon. It wasn’t until last Friday that their paths crossed again. The coach visited the coffee house yet again in anticipation to see her. They did not find the woman so they started heading home. They had this huge tug on their heart to make an unexpected stop. As they made a turn into the shopping center. They saw the woman.

They pulled over as close as they could, but not too close to scare her. The coach gathered their courage, grabbed the book, and a pen. They carefully walked up to her. She recognized the coach and smiled. The coach explained they wanted to give the woman something, but it wasn’t money or food, it was a book.

You have to understand this woman is homeless. So, the coach wasn’t certain if the woman would love the idea or be upset. She smiled from ear to ear. The coach breathed a sigh of relief. They both sat down and talked. The coach got her story, explained Oola, and wrote a private note to her and her husband who are living in their car. “The coach told her with all that you two have been through one day she might make an amazing life coach.” She just smiled.

The coach walked up the hill and went back to their car. They were uncertain if she would really read the book. To their pleasant surprise by the time they reached their car. She was reading the book. They took this picture of that moment.

The coach gave me one more update before I wrote this article. Two days later the woman walked up to the coach and the coach’s friend who was standing with them. She thanked them so much for the book. She told them both she had read three chapters in the book already. She then turned to the coach’s friend and told them they have got to read one of these Oola books. The coach felt so blessed and humble. Here is this young woman who had only read three chapters, but was already promoting Oola to others.

Let this be a great encouragement and reminder to plant seeds wherever we go. You never know whose heart is ripe soil for our seed. Someday this woman might be a coach or ambassador?

Years ago my good friend was diagnosed with cancer. 2. a diffuser to disperse healthy quality essential oils in and battery operated candles in place of toxic fragrance filled candles.

Use a capful and then add water to the fabric softener dispenser.
