The next afternoon, Mommy was busy in the kitchen when she heard a loud crash.
A cup had fallen.
Everyone turned to look.
One child quickly pointed at the other.
"It was him!"
The other child opened his mouth to argue...
Then paused.
"No," he said quietly. "It was both of us. We were playing where we shouldn't have been."
The room went silent.
Mommy nodded.
"Thank you for telling the truth."
There was no punishment.
Just a lesson.
That day, the children discovered something powerful:
When we tell the truth, we don't have to remember our excuses.

The children looked at each other and smiled.

As we go to bed , speak this to yoursel," l will nolonger merely read the Word. I will feed on it. I recieve the word as God's personal message to my spirit.
