Worry Less, Do More: Yes, DIVORCE is Hampering Your Potential....

22/05/2026

💔✨ Divorce didn’t break me. It rebuilt me.

It stripped away the old version of me — the one who doubted, the one who settled, the one who forgot her own worth. And in its place, it carved out someone stronger.

Now I laugh louder, because joy feels earned.
I hustle harder, because independence is my superpower.
I love deeper, because I finally know what it means to love myself first.

Divorce wasn’t the end of my story — it was the renovation of my soul. And every scar, every tear, every late‑night glass of wine became bricks in the foundation of the woman I am today.

So here’s to rebuilding, to resilience, and to the unapologetic glow‑up that comes when you realize broken isn’t the opposite of beautiful — it’s the beginning of it. 💖

🍸✨ The first time I walked into a restaurant alone and ordered a cocktail — no apologies, no explanations.

At first, it felt strange. The empty chair across from me was a reminder of what used to be. But then the waiter smiled, the music played, and I realized: I didn’t need anyone else to validate my presence.

That cocktail wasn’t just a drink — it was a declaration. A toast to freedom, to courage, to the woman who decided she was enough. I sipped slowly, savoring every drop of independence.

Divorce didn’t just change my relationship status; it changed my relationship with myself. And sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is sit at a table alone and own it.

💖 Here’s to solo cocktails, unapologetic confidence, and rewriting the story one sip at a time.

💋🎶 My 10‑minute ritual
It’s not fancy, it’s not complicated — but it’s mine.

Step 1: Swipe on mascara like I’m painting confidence straight onto my lashes.
Step 2: Blast my favorite playlist — the kind that makes me dance in the kitchen while the kids roll their eyes.
Step 3: Pretend the laundry doesn’t exist. Because self‑care sometimes means ignoring the mountain of socks and choosing joy instead.

✨ In those 10 minutes, I’m not just a mom, not just divorced — I’m me. The woman who knows that glow‑ups start with small rituals, sass, and a soundtrack.

So here’s to mascara, music, and the art of selective blindness when it comes to chores. 💖

💄🍷 Divorce taught me two things:

Wine pairs beautifully with freedom — every sip tastes like independence.

Lipstick is cheaper than therapy — and honestly, it lasts longer on a Friday night.

But here’s the secret third lesson: ✨ you don’t need permission to glow‑up. Divorce didn’t just end a chapter; it handed me the pen to write my own story. Now I laugh louder, budget smarter, and strut into rooms like I own them — because I do.

So if you’re sipping your freedom wine tonight, remember: you’re not broken, you’re blooming. And sometimes a bold lip is all the therapy you need.

💔 Divorced MOM — Michelle Van Dyk
Sometimes life flips your script — and you realize the ending you feared was actually the beginning you needed.

When I signed those papers, I thought I was losing everything. Turns out, I was gaining me. The woman who laughs louder, hustles harder, and loves deeper — even when the mascara runs.

This blog isn’t about heartbreak; it’s about healing, humor, and high heels. It’s for every mom who’s rebuilding her world one burger, one budget, and one bold lipstick at a time.

✨ Surviving. Thriving. Slaying.
Join me on this journey — because being single isn’t the end of the story, it’s the start of the glow‑up.

🚗💔 Co‑parenting is just Uber with extra drama.
Think about it: you’re constantly scheduling pickups, drop‑offs, and negotiating who’s covering the “ride fee” (aka school lunches, soccer practice, or that random art project due tomorrow). Except unlike Uber, there’s no app to track delays — just texts that read “running late” and a whole lot of eye‑rolls.

But here’s the twist: behind the chaos, there’s strength. Moms like us juggle the logistics, the emotions, and the late‑night pep talks. We’re not just drivers — we’re the engine that keeps the family moving forward.

✨ So yes, co‑parenting might feel like Uber with drama, but it also proves we’re resilient, resourceful, and ridiculously good at multitasking.

Im in a chapter where I’m drawn to things that feel meaningful. It’s not about having more people around me, it’s about having the right energy, the right habits, and the right purpose. Life feels different when you start choosing what aligns with your growth instead of what keeps you busy. I’m excited for the connections that are genuine, the opportunities that are aligned, and the moments that actually matter. This isn’t isolation, it’s elevation!💖

I’m building a life that feels full, intentional, and rooted in things that truly light me up✨

Do something meaningful for yourself today đź’– start today....

Today I sat and thought about if I died today , people who pretend to know me would cry and say how great I was ,while the rest who new me would tell the truth, and it would go like this ,she was a mom ,she had a hard live ,day to day was a Battle but still she smiled even if she wanted to die inside ,she would have you back ,but if you showed he you don't care she would turn it faster then you think ,my son would cry but then he would be glad my suffering was over ,and Al he would remember is me fighting to survive ,so if this is you I could go on but I think you get the picture do all you can for the one person who can't ...love you girls
