I started a journey 5 months ago and I am so happy that I challenged myself to embark on this life changing journey ❤️❤️❤️ thank for affording me the opportunity to advocate for mental health, gaining sisterhood and just being part of your family.

The end of the race as a semi finalist and hopefully the beginning of a new one. God has been good and he remains God

Charity begins at home and it's always a pleasure to go back home to educate my community about mental health. The youth of my village in Senotlelo started an organization called RURAL CHILD IS POSSIBLE and it was an honour getting an invite for their GBV event collaborating with WITS university. I realized there's a huge gap about mental health education.

Aiming to stop the stigma around mental health. We are stopping the misconception together

After being on anti-depressants for almost 7 years, I finally spoke to my psychologist about taking me off of them because I was reliant on them way too much.
I completely changed my eating habits, started to exercise more, lighting scented candles and going out to admire nature more. It did the trick😍I am completely off the medication and it's been over 1 year. I know I am not completely off the hook because a person who lives with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) can relapse anytime hence is important to always take some time out for yourself ❤️
-Mental Disorder is a condition and you can live absolutely healthy and happy when you manage it.
-Mental illness is not witchcraft, it is a mood disorder.
-seek help and help stop the misconception and stigma around mental illnesses.

I am here today✋as a voice to the voiceless and I proudly educate people everywhere I go about mental health without a shame and I always use myself as an example.

About 30 minutes ago I had to educate a certain lady about the age of my mom at a certain retail store about my SCAR. so she boldy said WHOEVER WAS STABBING YOU ALMOST TOOK OUT YOUR EYE 👁️and I camly responded p 'no mama, I had a condition called DISCOID LUPUS' it was a tumor growing to a point where it closed my left eye and nose. The shame in her eyes😔

I often get those remarks and I actually grew a thick skin because those remarks are one of the many reasons I got depression.

Now baby🤣🤣I think no one flaunts her scars like Leparagadi le😂😂😂 I wear my scars with so much pride.

I AM A WARRIOR ❤️AND I GOT SCARS TO PROVE THAT
