It is all fertile if you see it before confirming ovulation.

There are 2 mistakes I often see.
🌺The first is that some think that there is some cervical fluid that is not fertile before confirming ovulation.
🌺The second is that once they see the peak-type of fluid they think they are ovulating.
How cervical fluid works?
Once estrogen starts to rise, it stimulates the cervix crypts to start producing cervical fluid.
💧Usually, it starts with non-peak type fluid, which is more dense, white & thick. As estrogen levels rise, it changes to peak-type fluid, which is clear, stretchy & slippery like raw egg white etc.
🌊This tells us that we are now fertile due to its ability to keep s***m alive for up to 7 days. Yes, I know research says 3-5 days, but I have seen charts where it was a bit longer.
Also, we don’t know how close we are to ovulation as we cannot predict that & don’t believe anybody or anything that says otherwise (mmm...apps).
🌱In a typical cycle, we are fertile for 6-9 days & once we have confirmed ovulation, we enter the infertile phase which means that we are 100% safe.
🥚People assume that if they see the peak-type fluid that is stretchy, clear & like egg white, it means they are ovulating.
⬆️ What it means is that they have high levels of estrogen, but it doesn’t confirm ovulation. You might not eventually ovulate, or it could be later.
If you are using the Symptothermal Method, you must double check it with the temp shift.
🏵 The Symptothermal Double Check is 99.6-98.2% efficient when a user follows the rules correctly.
If you are using one of the cervical mucus methods only, then they have very clear definitions for peak day & ovulation.

Signs of a Healthy Cycle - What is your experience?
What is a cycle?
Your cycle starts from the first day of your period until one day before your next period. A normal length is between 23 to 35 days.
It has 4 phases, follicular phase, ovulation, luteal phase & menstruation. Check out the slides for more info.

"My partner thinks his s***m is a superhero. He will never get it checked.”
There are so many wrong things in this sentence but when we are talking about infertility, the male factor is at least 40%.
We are so conditioned to think that if there’s any issue it will be the woman's, so we rush to do very invasive tests while it might not be on us at all.
In a recent study they found that acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Paracetamol & in over 600 other over-the-counter medications, as well as other 16 phthalates & BPS which are used in the plastic industry, destroy s***m’s quality & count.
In another study they found that exposure to s***micide found in fruit & veggies causes DNA fragmentation, reduced semen quality & chromosome abnormality which decreases male fertility.
In another study they found that radiation from mobiles, WiFi & other wireless devices is absorbed by the body & can harm the reproductive system. It can damage both, female & male reproductive systems & the fetal development, decreasing s***m quality, changing s***m form & structure & changing hormone levels in the te**is. Think how many people carry their phones in their pockets.
Our lifestyle sadly doesn’t support our health. Habits such as smoking, alcohol & other things have shown to damage s***m quality & count.
If you are trying to conceive for a few months now, I would start by doing a s***m analysis.
WHY? Because it’s less invasive, men are part of the couple’s fertility & they need to do what it takes.
There are many things that we can do to help s***m quality, but you also need to remember that s***m that is ej******ed today was produced 3 months ago… yep! Interesting, right?!

Shall we tie your wife’s tubes? This was the question the gynae asked my husband.
I was lying there, with my womb cut open, having an emergency c-section.
It was my second emergency c-section & I was fully awake & aware of what was happening.
He could have asked me this question but for some reason he preferred to ask my husband.
You might say, “Well, he thought you had spoken about that before."
He could have asked me.
I was there & awake.
He brought my son to me & told me to kiss him on his lips. We communicated.
And yet.
This one question, he asked HIM.
This one question, regarding MY BODY, he asked HIM.
At that moment I didn’t view this as a big deal. I was carried away by the best drug in the world Oxytocin.
Not to mention that to make his life easier, he did a whole new cut & didn’t use the old one.
But after a few months, I was thinking about it & it made me so angry.
Why would he ask someone else about a permanent procedure regarding MY body?
The narrative that the woman belongs to the man, that they can even ask the man such a thing is disturbing & we can change it.
