Do you always chew on the same side? Most people do, it’s rarely a conscious choice, often just whichever side feels more comfortable, or a habit left over from an old dental issue that’s long since resolved.

The masseter, the main muscle that closes your jaw, is the one doing most of that work. When one side consistently chews more than the other, that side’s masseter can end up carrying noticeably more tension over time, sometimes even looking slightly more defined than the other.

Janssen Ultrasonic Cleansing.

A deep-cleansing treatment using high-frequency sound waves to lift impurities and dead skin cells from the pores. Those same sound waves also help skincare products absorb more effectively into the skin afterwards.

Face Cult opened its doors in Cape Town, the first studio in the city built entirely around facial massage. Since then, we’ve called three different spaces home, grown our team, and spent countless hours in training, but the feeling in the room has stayed exactly the same: you come in, you lie down, and for a little while, nothing else needs your attention.
