mkodzo umene uli ndi infection (UTI – Urinary Tract Infection) ukhoza kuonetsa zizindikiro izi:
Kupweteka kapena kuyaka mukamakodza – kumamveka ngati kuwawa kapena kutentha.
Kufuna kukodza pafupipafupi – ngakhale mkodzo ukhale wochepa.
Kusamala kwambiri kukodza (urgency) – kumva ngati muyenera kukodza nthawi yomweyo.
Mkodzo kusintha mtundu – kukhala wamdima, wa mtambo (cloudy), kapena kukhala ndi magazi pang’ono (pink kapena red).
Kununkha koopsa kwa mkodzo – fungo losiyana ndi mwachizolowezi.

Fever, kuzizira, nseru kapena kusanza – izi zingasonyeze kuti infection yafika ku impso ndipo imafunika chithandizo msanga.

3. Makhalidwe ndi Zinthu Zachilengedwe
