I am a Cape Town based Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist:
After completing my studies in 2011 with Head 2 Toe, I began working for the agency/ school on a permanent basis as the Key Media Artist from 2011-2014. Having a vast knowledge of the television makeup world, I was fortunate to work daily on shows such as Expresso Morning Show, Top Billing, The Dr Mol Show (later changed to Doctors Orders) and Pasella. For a year from mid 2012 to 2013 I also became a regular lecturer at Head 2 Toe teaching new students the latest techniques. On weekends I engaged another passion of mine, helping brides and their bridal parties getting ready on their big day as well as helping excited matric girls get ready for their Matric Dances. I also worked on various Woolworths Taste Magazine shoots for their featured chefs. In March 2014, I left Head 2 Toe and started working on a youth show called Hectic Nine 9 which broadcasts live from Cape Town on SABC2 every week day. During the last year I have worked on a series of short segments called “BeatLab” and “What Made Me”. The “Chappies Did You Know Show” which featured on Hectic Nine 9, Siyabonga Gogo (a children’s story series) as well as cooking show “Kasilicious” were other recorded shows I worked on. I was hired to be a makeup artist and hair stylist for Singer/Presenter Karen Zoid’s music video for her hit, “Drown Out the Noise” in early 2015 and went on to shoot Season 2,3 and 4 of Republiek van Zoid Afrika. Bobby en Karlien, In Jou Skoene is a new series premiering on VIA with Bobby and Karlien Van Jaarsveld. I had the pleasure of traveling South Africa while working on this project with Brainwave Productions. Having completed a lash extension course very recently as well as spray tanning too, I will be expanding business and build on my existing skills. I am a bright, hard-working, perfectionist and passionate about everything I take on in life. I am also a stockist of the following products:
