Medical aid authorisation is obtained before applying vac therapy for patient. Vac company applies for authorisation. The vac company is not contracted to Jehovah Raffah and therefore pays us for doing the dressings. Nurse applying therapy follows requirements as per vac company to ensure that there is no issues that may arise with payment by medical aid, reducing liability to patient.
