The traditional ceremony was done and I was given a marriage name but I stick to my real one when I'm not in Eastern Cape I met the rest of the Khumalo family. They have four sons and one daughter, Lubango is the third born while he has a big brother Kuhle , second big brother Abukwa then him and his little sister Melokuhle last born Andile. The older brothers have wives, Kuhle's wife Siyanda and Abukwa's wife is Zizipho. The Khumalos are a very close family which I love that about them, I've been here for three days and I'm leaving tomorrow as I have work on Monday and everyone also has work. All the siblings live in Cape Town except two of them... I was sitting in the lounge with the girls and I was wearing my white see-through crop top braless and sweatpants with morning shoes , it was night time so why not wear whatever f**k I want while the elders are asleep . We were drinking and the guys were out somewhere I don't really care where.

It's been three days since I came home and it was nice until I saw that my mom is worked up about something, she's nervous and going through dad's old stuff but today was worse than other days. She was making the maid clean the house inside out and Olona and I had to help them. I was sweaty as f**k when we finished then mom said we should go shower and wear suitable clothes some elders from the family are coming, I understand the cleaning was for them but them coming here is what I didn't understand. I cleaned up then after some time I heard voices downstairs then my siblings came to my room .

We all went downstairs and now there were people I didn't know I stood on the stairs observing while Mt siblings greeted everyone I'm known as the shy sibling . Everyone was discussing when to introduce me to their ancestors and then their lawyer laid down a marriage papers for us to sign. I woke up to my phone ringing I answered while sitting up straight.

:Miller I sent you the files check if I missed anything
Me: Maliso? 😴
Maliso: Yes now get up and look

I checked the time it was 00:30am I groaned and took my laptop and went downstairs without making noise. I sat on the table while Maliso was still on the line, I went through the files while he explained them thoroughly.

Maliso: No one as of yet and it seems as if we're just going to square one not moving forward and people are angry that we suspended baked goods for no reason

I reread the file again while waiting for Kat to join, after some time Kat joined .

The next morning I woke up very tired I had eye bags and I looked like a dead animal since I was busy the whole day yesterday and came home around 2am giving me three hours of sleep before heading to Eastern Cape. I took a 6am bus to East London it was long and reminded me why I hate buses so much, I was nauseated by the ride the minute the bus stopped at our final stop I ran off and vomited. I saw my big brother whom I have not seen in ages laughing looking me like I'm some crazy person .

I chuckled hugging my brother whom i miss so much and probably the least furious sibling of mine . We went to the car and i started telling him about everything that has happened in my life, he was laughing and telling me about his wife and how he is lawyer and is the one in town. I was so happy for him , Zolani and i always been very close than my other siblings .we arrived at home i saw a beautiful two story house and cars filling up the yard . The last i was here this house was not even close to being a two story we were the most poor family in the township . We went to park in the driveway as the gate close automatically .

I just blinked the tears back and went upstairs and found my mom's room since it was the master bedroom, she was sleeping peacefully and she was so pretty as she always looked. I hugged my mom tightly as if it's the end of the world, I cried after hearing her sobs . I slept next to my mom spooning her while she sleeps . I went back to the living room where my siblings were.

I nodded following my brother and immediately went to shower then sleep
