Family Kitchen
Family Kitchen is an interactive fun space where you can learn more about nutrition and health for you and your family from the professionals.
Family Kitchen is a website run by a registered Dietitian, who is helped by other health care professional to provide relevant and scientific health information to parents. The concept of Family Kitchen was started by Carey Haupt. I am a mother of two small children. When chatting to other parents about breastfeeding and feeding their children, I realised how important it is that there be a platform whereby parents can ask and receive science based health information. Parents are bombarded with advice on nutritional and health care, often the advice is personal preference or a form of marketing. With Family Kitchen the parents know that the advice given is based in science and from one of our experts. All material and advice provided on this website and affiliated social media pages (Facebook and Twitter) is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Please consult your doctor regarding the applicability of any opinions with respect to your or your child’s specific medical condition.
