Nothing brings the family together like good food! 💚🍜

My daughter and I tried the new .zanzi noodles, and we each found a favourite. I’m team Beef, while she’s all about the Roast Chicken flavour. 😄

Bold flavours, quick to make, and perfect for busy days. Which flavour would you choose?

It’s the last day of mental health awareness month.

You saw my successes on social media… what you didn’t see was that I was going through hell and my mental health took a huge knock.

Some big life events hit me all at the same time. I was retrenched and not paid my final package. I lost my income overnight, Just before my kids birthdays, both of my kids needed grommets, we all got sick, it was Christmas, my nanny left us and I was in the middle of legal cases with my former employer.

It was sink or swim and I bet everything on myself. By the grace of G-d my dream clients found me. We went from being a family in crisis, we rebuilt and we remembered how strong we are together. I fell in love with my husband all over again and we started training a new nanny and we found our new normal.

Last month I started taking an anti anxieletic and it helped to take the edge off. I’m now strong again (mentally) and ready to take the bull by the horns.

My breakdown may have been private, but the glow up is going to be public. Always choose kindness, you have no idea what someone else is going through and how much your words can make them or break them.

Be a lekker human and remember that women collaborate, we don’t compete. There’s enough space for us to all win. Prioritise your family and mental health. Lots of love.

If you are struggling right now, you are not alone. It’s hard to see it when you are in the eye of the storm, but this too shall pass.

I’m utterly obsessed with this labradorite necklace from every time I wear it, I get so many compliments. The perfect gift from you, to you!

I love the flashes of peacock blue, green and gold that come through. This is a stone of transformation- perfect for a business owner like me.

It’s a stone of spiritual protection, inner awakening and personal growth 💙✨

Is it just me or does anyone else do this? Since having kids I wear Spanx under all of my dresses now.

Before kids I just wore underwear, now I wear Spanx, like long shorts. Mainly because I know I may need to run / bend over / someone might lift my dress up. Just thought this was an interesting observation that I never had before having kids 😂
