From sceptical to confident, one brushstroke at a time! 💄✨

I recently had the privilege of hosting a Makeup Workshop for an incredible group of ladies as part of their workplace team activity.

At first, many of them felt unsure about doing their own makeup. But with a little guidance, practical techniques and beautiful professional products from MUD and Smink, each woman created her own look.

The most rewarding part was watching the transformation in their confidence. It was not about hiding who they are, but learning how to enhance the beauty that is already there.

This workshop was a wonderful reminder: you don’t need to be a makeup artist to feel confident doing your own makeup. With the right knowledge, quality products and a little practice, you absolutely can!

Thank you to these lovely ladies for embracing the experience and supporting one another along the way. What a beautiful day of learning, laughter and confidence-building.

My make-up LESS days started with a simple challenge from a beautician: Try giving your skin a break from foundation every now and then.

And that’s exactly what I did!

Now, make-up LESS doesn’t mean make-up free. I still enjoy adding a little colour and definition to feel fresh and finished off. Just without the foundation!

I loved this pairing of Dark W**e and Sky Blue because it looks luxurious without needing anything complicated. 🩵
When a colour combination works, take note of it.
Photograph it, save it, and repeat it with different pieces.
That is how you begin creating a wardrobe that feels both beautiful and usable.

BUT remember, YOUR best combinations will also depend on YOUR colouring. - The RIGHT version of a colour can make all the difference.

Knowing your colours is not about being TOLD what you may or may not wear. ❌

It is about understanding which shades help you look fresh, balanced and naturally yourself. 🫶🏼

In this example, I placed myself in three colour rings chosen from the twelve possible colour groups. 2 options are totally wrong (see if you can spot them) 😉

A personal colour analysis looks beyond a single comparison to determine which of the twelve groups works most harmoniously for you.

Knowing your colours is NOT about LIMITING your choices.
It gives you a practical direction for clothing, accessories, hair colour and makeup. 💃🏻

A polished outfit does not always need more pieces. 👚👖🧥👢🧣
Sometimes it simply needs one colour repeated with intention. 🤍🧡🤍

In these winter looks, notice how the colour appears in more than one place. That small connection helps the outfit feel considered without looking overdone.

Try it with a scarf and shoe, a knit and earring, or a jacket detail and handbag.
