“Sulfate-free or your extensions will be ruined!”
Ummm… not quite. 👀😂

There’s SO much hair-care advice online, and honestly, some of it makes choosing a shampoo way more confusing than it needs to be!

💧 SULFATES
Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) isn’t automatically bad for your extensions. It’s a cleansing ingredient that helps remove oil, dirt and product buildup.

A sulfate-free shampoo can be a great choice, especially if your hair is very dry, fragile or washed frequently… but “sulfate-free” doesn’t automatically mean better or gentler. 🙅‍♀️

🧬 AND THEN THERE’S PROTEIN…

Protein isn’t the enemy either! 😂

Keratin, wheat, rice, silk and other proteins can help damaged or porous hair feel stronger.

BUT… if you’re using a protein-heavy shampoo + conditioner + mask + treatment all at once, your hair may start feeling stiff, rough, dry or less flexible.

Your extensions don’t need a chemistry degree. 😂
They need the RIGHT BALANCE of cleansing, moisture, conditioning and gentle care. 💗
