Mandela Day this year was incredibly special to me. I had the privilege of being part of a soup kitchen for the elderly in KaNyamazane. I contributed 20 liters of soup, which helped bring the morning's total to 67 liters of warmth served on Saturday. ❤️ ​2026 has been one of the hardest years of my life so far, but Saturday was a gentle reminder that there is so much more to this world than my own personal struggles. Showing up for others ended up filling my own cup when I needed it most.

There is a distinct kind of magic in wanting to romanticize the utterly mundane.
