Aloemastercare Harvesting Process

🌿 How tall Aloe Ferox grows
Aloe Ferox is one of South Africa’s most iconic aloe species — a hardy plant that can grow up to 2–3 meters tall. Its long, thick, nutrient-rich leaves store powerful active compounds that make our products so effective.

🌅 When we harvest
Aloe Ferox is harvested once a year, during the dry season, when the leaves contain the highest concentration of natural actives. This timing ensures the gel is at its most potent and nutrient-dense.

✋ How we harvest (traditional & sustainable)
At Aloemastercare, our harvesting is done by hand, following traditional South African methods passed down through generations:
• Only the lower, mature leaves are harvested — usually 6 to 8 leaves per plant.
• We never cut the crown or young inner leaves, so the aloe continues to grow naturally.
• Each leaf is carefully cut at the base, ensuring the plant remains healthy and productive for decades.
• After harvesting, the leaves are taken for fresh pressing, where we extract pure Aloe Ferox gel without heat or unnecessary processing.

This sustainable approach protects the environment, supports healthy regrowth, and ensures that every Aloemastercare product contains the purest, highest-quality Aloe Ferox.
