Most people donβt actually know what calm feels like.
They only know stress.
And what we often call βstressβ has become a kind of βdis-easeββ something weβve learned to surround our lives with.
But when the body is finally given space to just beβ¦
something interesting happens.
Tension begins to rise.
Emotions surface.
Not because something is wrong β
but because the body is starting to process what it has been holding.
In time, the body shifts.
Into a more balanced, supportive state β
what was termed by Selye as eu-stress.
Where hormones like cortisol and adrenaline
