The V-shape halter was designed to accommodate the nosepiece of the hackamore during endurance rides. The hackamores’ nosepiece needs to sit at the correct height on the nose bone to prevent injury. (BioThane products on the market currently consist of a combined halter / bridle with removable bit and cheek pieces which were not designed for the use of a hackamore.) All BioThane equipment can be adjusted and customized to fit all types and different sizes of horses and dogs. Replacement of buckles etc can also be done. Black and brown BioThane can be used to create the standardized look for English riding.
