About the Role
Vivalon Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Estate Sister (Registered Nurse) to take on a senior leadership role within our residential care environment. This position is integral to ensuring high-quality, structured, and resident- and family-centred care.
You will oversee and coordinate all aspects of healthcare delivery within the estate, supporting both residents and staff while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and oversight of all care delivery within the estate
• Deliver and coordinate nursing care, therapeutic interventions, and pharmacy services
• Ensure a structured, safe, and resident-focused care environment
• Lead and support the care team through effective planning, supervision, and mentorship
• Drive process improvement, staff training, and integration with healthcare programmes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting standards
• Facilitate appropriate referrals based on clinical assessments
Minimum Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid licence from the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Minimum of 5 years’ nursing experience in residential / estate / frail care environments
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• Strong understanding of interdisciplinary care approaches
• Knowledge of the Older Persons Act
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Vacancy: Ad-Hoc Social Worker

Location: Retirement Village, Benoni

We are seeking the services of a qualified and registered Social Worker to support residents at our Retirement Village on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychosocial assessments of residents as required

Provide individual support and counselling to residents

Undertake resident visits on weekdays when requested

Maintain professional records and reports in line with SACSSP standards

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)

Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)

Experience in working with older persons will be an advantage

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage flexible scheduling
