✨ **August isn’t a fresh start. It’s a gentle reset.**
There are still five months left in the year.
That’s more than enough time to make meaningful progress.
When a new month begins, it’s tempting to create a long list of everything we want to change. Exercise more. Eat healthier. Read every day. Wake up earlier. Learn a new skill. Declutter the house.
Before long, we’ve given ourselves so many priorities that we don’t know where to begin.
Behavioural research suggests that our brains become less effective at making decisions when we’re faced with too many competing choices. That’s one reason planning can sometimes feel overwhelming, not because we lack motivation, but because we’ve given ourselves too much to hold at once.
Many of the best productivity and habit-building ideas share a common theme: progress comes from focusing on what matters most, then taking small, consistent steps.
So before you fill your calendar this August, pause for a moment.
Ask yourself:
• What deserves my attention this month?
• What can I let go of for now?
• What’s one meaningful step I can take this week?
Planning isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about choosing what matters most and creating space to follow through.
One intentional month can change far more than one perfect plan ever could.
🌿 What’s one thing you’re choosing to focus on this August?
Save this as your monthly reminder, or share it with someone who’s ready for a fresh perspective.
My makeup uniform for the week 🐇
Steve Jobs wore the same black turtleneck every day, not because he didn’t care, but because he didn’t want to waste brainpower deciding. I do the same with my makeup.
Pick your products for the week, make sure they work with your wardrobe, and take the decision off your plate before 7am even starts. Feeling creative some days? Switch it up. This is just your base.
(And if you’re wondering why this feels so familiar to me... it’s the same reason I built my own diary. One space, figured out once, so the rest of life gets a little easier.)
What’s one decision you wish you could take off your own plate this week? 👇

My 5 Life Pillars & how I plan 👆🏻
A big year goal is exciting, but living it day to day is where it gets hard.
These are the 5 areas I keep coming back to when I plan: spiritual, personal, work, finance, and health & fitness.
Growing a little in each one, instead of chasing one overwhelming goal.
Save this for when you sit down to plan your own quarter 🤍
Which pillar are you focusing on most right now? 👇
The way I plan Quarter 3 ✍🏻
Before I write a single goal, I map out my 5 life pillars:
Spiritual
Personal
Work
Finance
Health & Fitness.
Then I dream and plan within each one, instead of trying to tackle “life” as one overwhelming thing.
Which pillar needs the most attention from you this quarter? 👇
Goodbye Q2, hello Q3 👋
Big year goals are exciting until you actually have to live them day by day.
Breaking mine into quarters is what keeps it from feeling overwhelming.
Have you checked in on Q1 and Q2 yet? What’s your focus for the next 3 months? 👇
