8 full glasses of water per day is what we need for adequate hydration, drinks that count:
- fruit-infused water (like lemon or grapefruit)
- sparkling water w/ splash of fruit juice (no natural or artificial flavors)
- herbal teas
- 100% pure coconut water
- aloe vera juice/smoothie
- cucumber juice/smoothie

What proper hydration is NOT:
- Gatorade (artificial flavors and sweetener)
- Coffee drinks (caffeine and sugar deplete your body of water)
- Energy drinks
- Fruit juice (a lot of sugar with very little fiber)
- Diet soda (artificial sweeteners and synthetic ingredients)
