Corrections take time. More often than not, they involve laser removal, followed by adequate healing time between sessions before we can begin again. Creating a soft, powdery finish isn’t rushed, it’s a gradual process that avoids over-saturation and prioritises how the results heal, not just how they look on the day.

Not the easiest skin type (how your skin behaves), tone (your surface colour) or undertone (the subtle hue beneath the skin), but we still managed to achieve soft, yet warm, natural-looking healed results.

There’s so much more to Powder Brows than simply tattooing the skin. Understanding pigment types, implantation techniques, colour theory, and individual skin tones, which all play an equally important role in achieving beautifully healed results.

Every face and every skin is different, which means no two sets of brows should ever be the same. True artistry lies in customising each treatment to suit the client.

Laser Tattoo Removal ✨ for Old, Red Microblading

Red or warm-toned microblading can show visible softening and lightening, as seen in the images above. These results were achieved after only one tattoo removal session.

✨ Red/orange tones begin to fade
✨ Brows look softer and less intense
✨ Some patchiness is normal
✨ Swelling is normal and can last 1-3 days
✨ Healing typically takes 7–14 days

Good to know:
• Red pigment is one of the more stubborn colours to remove
• Multiple sessions may be needed
• Brows may temporarily appear darker or grey before fading
• True results are visible 4–8 weeks post-treatment

Laser is often used to reduce old pigment enough for a safe correction or fresh PMU. Multiple sessions may be needed for full removal.

WHEN IS IT TIME FOR AN ANNUAL COLOUR REFRESHER? ✨

Once your 6–8 week touch-up is complete, a colour refresher is typically recommended every 1–3 years, depending on the treatment and the individual.

It may be time for a refresher if:
• Areas of the brows start to look patchy
• You find yourself filling in your brows daily again
• You’re needing brow tinting more frequently
• The pigment has faded by around 50%

If you’re unsure, pop in for a brow tint and re-shape first. In many cases, especially with lighter brow hair, tinting can restore definition and structure, and additional permanent make-up may not be necessary.

Refreshers are best booked when you don’t have any major events planned, as adequate healing time is needed. Allow roughly 7–10 days for healing (sometimes longer, depending on individual skin type and healing response).

*Any COLOUR REFRESHERS booked 3 years + since your last touch-up will be considered a new brow treatment.
