Restylane® Skinboosters Vital vs Vital Light: what's the difference?
Both are hyaluronic acid skinboosters designed to hydrate the skin from within, but they're formulated for different needs.
Restylane® Vital
✨ Higher concentration (20mg/ml)
✨ Commonly used on the face and hands
✨ Best suited to more mature skin, sun damage or deeper hydration needs
Restylane® Vital Light
💧 Lighter formulation (12mg/ml)
💧 Offers a subtler, more preventative boost
💧 Ideal for younger or more delicate skin, or areas like the neck and décolletage
Both work the same way: micro-injections deliver hyaluronic acid into the skin to improve hydration, elasticity and overall texture, without adding volume. They're also used alongside subcision to treat acne scarring. Most patients start with a course of treatments a few weeks apart, followed by periodic maintenance to keep results going.

Antoinette is a highly experienced Skin Therapist with over a decade of experience in the skincare and laser industry. She first joined our team for a short while before taking time off to welcome her baby, then returned to Natural Aesthetics in 2019, and has been a valued part of our Green Point practice ever since.
She is experienced in advanced treatments including Diode Laser Hair Removal, IPL Skin Rejuvenation, Dermapen Microneedling, Chemical Peels, Cosmelan, Fractional Skin Resurfacing and Radio Frequency therapies, alongside customised facials and thorough skin assessments. She began her career delivering hands-on patient care as a therapist before transitioning into an administrative role, and her deep understanding of skincare continues to shape the seamless, informed experience our patients receive.
