Can I share some lessons I have learnt in my 9 year old business?

1. Be Authentic - be true to who you are. We cannot be everything for everyone
2. Wearing too many hats is exhausting - find the funds to delegate those tasks you really suck at doing!
3. Spend time listening to your customers - this is valuable free advice - you don't have to change your business based on those snippets though. Many times you know best what is right for your business.
4. As corny as this sounds - love what you do. Running a small business is not easy so if you are not enjoying where you are - change! You are the only one who can!
5. Show gratitude - no business is a success without the support from the amazing people who surround you... A sincere Thank You works wonders!

I have taken a few days break in the Northern Cape - at the moment cold and dry! The wild flowers are beautiful - but the climate is very harsh on my skin.
