Eyeliner Correction/Refinement 💁‍♀️

A lovely client came in for upper eyeliner correction 🥰 Here are the results!

These eyeliners were previously done by another PMU Artist however, our client wanted PMUbyG to add some extra "pizzazz" ✨

We did a beautiful colour boost and delicately refined the faded eyeliner that framed her lovely eyes.

It is generally reccomend to book regular refinements, which help maintain the vibrancy and shape of the eyeliner as the pigment does fade overtime.

The lifespan of permanent eyeliner can vary, lasting anywhere from 3-5 years on average, depending on factors such as skin type, sun exposure, and aftercare practices. Some may find that their eyeliner lasts longer, while others might need more frequent refinements.

Later this year, we will be releasing our Lip Camouflage ONLINE course for those who prefer to complete the training remotely.

Permanent makeup is a convenient way to enhance your features, but it requires diligent sun protection to maintain its longevity. 🙏🏻🌞💪🏻

The following are a few risks that intense sun exposure can cause:

1️⃣ Exposure to UV rays can cause the pigments to fade or shift in colour, diminishing the desired results! ☝🏻

2️⃣ Darker skin tones have a higher risk of hyperpigmentation after permanent makeup compared to lighter skin. Melanin levels determine skin, hair, and eye colour across ethnicities. More melanin in darker skin can react more severely to the treatment. Possible complications include inflammation, hyper/hypopigmentation, and skin fibrosis.

3️⃣ Certain facial areas like lips are more prone to hyperpigmentation in all skin types due to higher melanin content. Risks can be minimized with proper precautions.

To preserve your investment, it is essential to apply high-SPF sunscreen, wear protective hats, and limit direct sun exposure, especially in the initial healing phase. ✨🙏🏻

By taking these precautions, you can enjoy your permanent makeup for years to come! 👏🏻👏🏻😁
