Welcome back and why ´Le Pôz´
Le Pôz is a new name on the market but the products we bring back to you were available, in limited quantities, for the last 17 years. The products were adored and enjoyed by only a hand full of people like family, friends and a few very fussy regulars. Pôz is the phonetic spelling of the word ʹpauseʹ and Le Pôz means ʹThe Pauseʹ. Le Pôz Products is the name of our family operated cottage industry which went through a ‘pause’ when life threw some curved balls at us. As portrayed in our logo and on our way to a new and exciting journey, we are reminded of the similarity between us and the bamboo plant. Bamboo is one of the strongest plants known to us, but it can break. Every break, that this remarkably strong plant goes through, results in a pause in its growth before it recovers and continues to grow. Another amazing fact is that a specific bamboo has a four-year germination period – also somewhat of a ʹpauseʹ in its lifespan. When the seed eventually breaks ground, it grows at a remarkable rate of 1 mm every 90 seconds until it reaches a height of up to 30 meters in just one year. When Minnie and I decided to bring our unique all-time favourite products back to the market, we had a few very important marketing principles in mind:
• We will not try and compete with any of the existing and well-established glycerine soap businesses, with their wide variety of beautiful and good quality products.
• We will remain a cottage industry and we will only manufacture a few different products for which there would be a demand and we will do so with love, passion, dedication and commitment in order to fully satisfy the high expectations of our dear customers.
• From customer feedback over the years, we know that these products do have supreme and exquisite qualities. We are confident that, when ʹput to the testʹ, our products will speak for themselves.
• We will make our luxurious products more affordable to a wider spectrum of end users by applying the KIS (Keep It Simple) approach. No fancy shapes, colours or fragrances.
• We will endeavor ourselves to create opportunities for as many individuals possible to earn a supplementary home based income. Please take note that our Shea Butter Glycerine Soap and Shea Bath Butter are still made according to the same formulas as in the earlier days and both these products are still of the same quality as before. Therefore, we at Le Pôz Products, invite you to enjoy our luxurious bath time products. Please remember that a pause in a day or a life – can have great benefits.
