Dear sister ,
When your past mistakes echo louder than God's grace, remember Paul the Apostle from the book of Philippians. Though he had a painful past, he chose to press forward toward the purpose God had for him.
Remind yourself that God's mercy is greater than your mistakes. Pray, acknowledge where you have fallen, receive His forgiveness, and know that your past does not have the final say over your future.
"Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark..." (Philippians 3:13–14).
Keep moving forward. God's grace is still writing your story. ❤️

Ring Doughnuts
Ingredients
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
1 tsp instant dry yeast
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional, for flavor)
½ cup (120ml) warm milk
2 tbsp (30g) melted butter or margarine
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Vegetable oil for deep frying
Granulated sugar or glaze for coating
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and nutmeg.
Add the warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and roll it out to about ½-inch (1.3 cm) thickness.
Cut out doughnut rings using a doughnut cutter or two round cutters (e.g., a cup and a bottle cap).
Place the cut doughnuts on a floured tray, cover, and let them rise again for 30–40 minutes until puffy.
Heat oil in a deep pot to 170–180°C (340–360°F). Fry the doughnuts in batches for about 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
While still warm, coat in granulated sugar or dip in a glaze of your choice.
