A Renewed Mandate, A Renewed Responsibility
On behalf of the people of Chongwe and in my capacity as Mayor-Elect of Chongwe, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election.

This renewed mandate is a profound expression of confidence in his leadership and an opportunity to accelerate Zambia’s journey towards inclusive development, economic transformation and improved livelihoods for all citizens.

I also wish to express my sincere gratitude to the United Party for National Development (UPND) for the confidence and trust placed in me through my adoption on the party ticket. I am deeply honoured to have been entrusted with the responsibility to represent the party and its vision at the local level.

As Chongwe begins a new chapter, I look forward to working constructively with the national leadership, government institutions and all stakeholders to translate national development priorities into meaningful progress for our communities.

Congratulations, Your Excellency. The mandate has been renewed; the work must now be renewed with greater purpose, unity and determination.

First and foremost, I give all glory and thanks to Almighty God, whose will has prevailed. I am deeply grateful for His grace, guidance, protection, and strength throughout this journey. It is only by His grace that we have come this far.

I would like to sincerely thank His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema, the UPND National Management Committee (NMC),Our Mother Honourable Sylvia T Masebo Who has always stood with me supported and encouraged me, And the Provincial Leadership, District Leadership, Constituency Leadership, Ward structures, and the entire UPND family for the support and confidence you have shown me.

My heartfelt appreciation also goes to my campaign managers and teams from both Chongwe East and Chongwe West, as well as everyone who supported this journey directly or indirectly. Your sacrifices, encouragement, commitment, and hard work will forever remain appreciated.

I also extend my sincere gratitude to our traditional leadership and, most importantly, to every resident of Chongwe who exercised their democratic right and entrusted me with the mandate to serve as your Mayor.

Thank you very much for believing in me.

This victory is not about an individual—it is about the people of Chongwe. The mandate you have given me comes with a great responsibility, and I pledge to serve with humility, dedication, integrity, and commitment.
