Realize this truth: People can never ignore excellence and quality. So, if you aim at doing your best at all times and in all things, opportunities can never pass you by.

Secondly, destiny helpers are always giving us chances to prove ourselves. Being in the presence of a decision-maker in business or an influential person in an organization is always an audition. Each time you are in contact with an important person, that is an interview. Note that Important/influential and wealthy people are always more than willing to help others more than you know.

They give chances even when we don't know that we are being given a chance. But the thing with these kinds of people is that they will never tell you that you have blundered or destroyed your chances when it comes to giving you a life changing opportunity.

They will just let you be and not even correct you because they believe that if you are good then you are good and if you have what it takes then you have what it takes. Important people have no time to babysit you or to endure your lack of excellence and quality. They are too busy and if you can't fit in their world with quality and excellence, then you are fired even before you got the opportunity.

So the moment you leave your house, don't be sloppy. Don't tolerate mistakes from yourself. Have excellence in all you do and practice being a total quality person. If you follow this advice, I promise you this - You will never have to beg for employment, business, or any other opportunity.

Most people lack the ability to move fluently from one Success or failure to another. We take too long to move on because we have a natural tendency to fixate on one win or one loss for a long time at the expense of progress.

To succeed in life, one must have what I call the NEXT philosophy. The next philosophy is about moving on from what has just passed and looking forward to what is next. It's also about recovering quickly from the impacts of the negative things and failures that we go through in life. It's learning not to prolong the celebration of victories at the expense of progress because prolonged celebrations do attract a lot of counter progress. So think of failures and Successes in terms of mountains. Between each mountain are valleys of preparation for next not relaxation. So if you win, celebrate but not at the expense of preparation for next.

If you fail or make mistakes, do not wallow in emotional negativity, guilt and self-condemnation. If you suffer loss, pick yourself up and focus on preparation for next. Your body, mind and emotions may have residual elements of the past event or activity but you must be audacious to move on to the next activity or project

A story is told of a small car. The driver in the small car 🚗 was doing everything correct on the road. He followed the guidelines and all the traffic rules, while keeping to his lane. Now right in front of Him was a Big Truck 🚚 . The big truck was in the wrong lane and pursuing the small car. Clearly they were soon going to have a head on Collision 💥 .

The question is what does the person in the small car do? Does He insist on staying in His lane because He is correct and the big truck is wrong? Or does He temporarily come out of His lane to accommodate the big truck and allow it to pass? Okay if the small car stays in its lane, who is likely to survive the collision💥 ?

Friends here is the wisdom from this analogy: Sometimes, after you have done your part or said your truth, you have to let some people win the argument. Let them do what they perceive to be right. Yes you can give them your view point. Tell them your truth but in my experience, trying to convince ignorance in an argument is a fruitless endearvour. people want to believe what they want to believe sometimes. They want to stick to their wrong and ignorant view point.

In these matters, all you can do friends, is state your truth and if people insist on sticking to their wrong, avoid a collision. Avoid confrontations. Move out of your lane and let their ignorance pass. Let their wrong action pass. Let it pass and then nicely get back into your lane. You hoot, if the truck does not move back to its lane, you must make your move.

You see, insisting on staying in your lane in Such a circumstance will only destroy and ruin you. The raw truth is that there are certain people that are hard bent on their thinking. The following are hard to steer into correction:

- A Proud ignorant person.
- A hurt person.
- A confused person.
- A delusional person.

Focus is more valuable than intelligence or talent. No matter how smart you are, if you lack focus, you are not going far. Focus is that ability to stay centered in your priorities. People today, spend their best hours on social media - scrolling, looking for what's trending, watching series or movies, chilling and sleeping a lot.

But if you study the lives of the most productive people on the planet, you would be shocked. The best business/career people, global leaders, music artists, photographers and other experts are obsessed with their priorities. They are not playful or distracted.

The Greatest in the Globe spend their finest hours on priorities. On the other hand, the merely intelligent and talented are too playful. When they work, its talent and intelligence at play and not hard work!

If you want to be the best in your field, stop being playful. Focus! Be priority centric! Put in your best and don't hide behind the phrase - "Am working smart." For most, it’s not working smart. It’s half committed work. Smart work (intelligence + talent) and hard work are like two legs. They give balance to work ethic. {HOW FAST YOU RUN DEPENDS ON WHAT IS CHASING YOU}

It’s true that how fast you run depends on what is chasing you. Why? Because others are being chased by mere cat trouble, problems, struggles and challenges and because it's only a cat, they can afford to relax and be at ease. They can afford to have fun, live anyhow and take it easy. But some of us however can't afford to be at ease because we are being chased by lion troubles, problems, struggles and challenges. When you are being chased by lion troubles, you run differently and you run with urgency otherwise that thing will kill you. So you work, eat, sleep and live responsibly because you are fully cognizant of the struggles that follow you and the disadvantages from your background.

So I get bothered at times with the way some people portray themselves on Facebook and how it's far from who they really are. Picture this: Someone inboxes me and says "I need help to pay school fees. Please am an orphan." Then a few hours later, they post a picture in the mirror with a beer and their latest iPhone pro max. So I get confused because am thinking... " If you can afford the Porsche champagne life on social media with fine make-up, expensive clothes and an expensive phone surely you can afford school fees? But alas that is our generation. They portray a rich image online meantime they have lion size poverty chasing them.

So my advice today is simple: Let's get real about our realities. Don't copy people with cat size trouble. Never forget where you are coming from and how your parents or family struggled for you. Never forget the struggles of your upbringing and the things you have survived and suffered. Nothing wrong with being fashionable and trendy but please don't punish your future by doing things to fit in with those that are being chased by mere cat troubles when you are being chased by lion problems. Calling money trading power has changed the whole trajectory of my finances. You see, the purpose of money is to trade and transact. Literally, Money is power to transact. So when you understand that, how you perceive and value money will totally change. Now realize that you will never get wealthy if you do not value money. As a matter of fact, wealthy people are cognizant of the immense value that money has and for them, each Dollar, each Kwacha, each Rand counts and its never too small. Why is it never too small? Because it's all trading power.

So friends, I want you to adopt this perspective on money. Stop looking at money as just money. Start seeing it as something that gives you power to transact. See it as something which enables you to trade.

Now, once you have this perspective, practice using your money for actual deliberate trade. Practice transacting with your money. Do this with the smallest amount you have and sooner or later, you will be shocked by the results you will start having with your money. Suddenly, you will do more with your cash and sooner or later, your resources will increase.

POLICE MAKE STRIDES IN ARRESTING GASSERS

The Zambia Police will next week summon individuals to help with investigations in the gassing saga that traumatized Zambians over a year ago.

Zambia Police Inspector General, Lemmy Kajoba, says police have worked hard across, linking suspects who claimed they knew masterminds behind the gassing of innocent people.

Mr. Kajoba adds that it is for this reason that individuals will be appearing for questioning before police next week.

He said the matter is still very active that it will not die a natural death before those involved are brought to book.
