I am a lover of essential oils & this makes me passionate always to share knowledge & information on the subject.

Essential oils are believed to have been used since ancient days in 1830 Egypt, India, Pakistan, France to mention but a few, mainly for perfume & aromatherapy. Using distillation was the great discovery of these plants as perfume or aromatherapy. A great student of science Louis Pasteur took an interest in the discipline of distillation but it was his assistant chamberlain who began scientific measurements antiseptic effects of oregano, gloves, cinnamon as an anthrax. Though scientific history has it to think they were discovered in the time of chamberlain & his predessors, am made to believe they existed in BC(before christ) because these account Psalm 45:7-8, Proverbs 27:9, Isaiah 61:3 and Hebrews 1:9 all reference oils in some way, as in “the oil of joy” and “the oil of gladness,” and they speak of how oils “rejoice the heart.”

Then in 1900s, 1910 to be precise Rene Maurice got burnt from the explosion of his lab and sustained burns which he treated with lavender essential oils, it was his recovery with lavender essential oils that birthed French society of Aromatic products as its founder. To-date most developed research on the products cannot be told without mentioning him or excepting his research. Through his research "Aromatherapy" would be named & develop. So there it is "Aroma therapy" as developed by René-Maurice Gattefossé.

Each time you use essential oils for Aroma therapy you give credit to René-Maurice Gattefossé as one its founder.

What is Aromatherapy & what are its benefits?

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries. When inhaled, the scent molecules in essential oils travel from the factory nerves directly to the brain and especially impact the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain.

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils for certain benefits. Examples include lavender, orange and bergamot, and eucalyptus. These “aromas” are all plant-based derivatives from herbs, tree extracts, and flowers. Essential oils are extremely concentrated so to be used correctly they should be diluted into milder oils, humidifiers, or lotions.

The overall purpose of aromatherapy is meant to improve your physical and mental well-being. More consumers are testing out essential oil products than ever before by diffusing them at home or diluting them for skin usage.

Mostly they can be used to treat the follwing:

>anxiety
>depression
>insomnia
>nausea
>pain

benefit our sleep patterns, help us cope with anxiety and depression, and improve the quality of life for those with chronic health conditions and pain. In this day where research is far much developed, you can now use aroma therapy with conventional medicines, in spars they help crank all those locked nerves to relax you and help you 'find' a balance.
