Things Police Cannot Legally do during an Arrest

People always argue about police powers. Many people believe that once a police officer arrests you, the officer can do anything to you. But that is not entirely correct. Even the police must operate within the law, and the law also protects the rights of suspects.

Here are a few things the police are not allowed to do during an arrest:

🄢 Slapping or Beating a Suspect
An arrest does not give any officer the right to slap, beat, or torture a suspect. A suspect is still entitled to dignity and humane treatment, even while under arrest.

🄢 Forcing a Suspect to Kneel Down
Many people have seen situations where suspects are forced to kneel on the ground.
The law does not permit degrading treatment of suspects. An arrest should not become punishment before trial.

🄢 Arresting Someone Without Telling Them the Reason
When a person is arrested, the police are expected to inform the person of the reason for the arrest except in some limited circumstances.
You cannot simply be told ā€œfollow usā€ without being informed why you are being arrested.

This is part of the right to personal liberty under article 13 and 15 of the Constitution of zambia
A person should not just be picked up and taken away without knowing why they are being arrested.

The truth is this the police have the power to arrest, but that power must be exercised according to the law and with respect for human rights. Being a suspect does not mean a person has lost all their rights.

It’s very easy to lead if you aren’t a THIEF and CORRUPT.

When leaders and officials keep their hands off money that belongs to the community, development becomes possible for everyone.

Stability and progress come when resources are protected, managed transparently, and directed toward the people who need them most.

The real challenge begins when the same individuals, the same cooperatives, and the same companies repeatedly benefit from public contracts. That pattern weakens fairness, shuts out new participants, and slows down community growth.

A community thrives when opportunity is shared, not recycled among a select few.

Is It Illegal To Open Your Husband or Wife’s Phone?

It depends.

Marriage does not cancel privacy.

Under the law, privacy is a constitutional right. Your husband or wife does not lose that right because of wedding ring.

If you forcefully open your spouse’s phone, hack it, guess password without consent, or use private messages against them improperly, it can amount to:
Breach of privacy
Cyber-related offence
Possible criminal complaint (depending on circumstances)

But let’s be practical.

Many couples share passwords willingly.
That is not illegal.

Consent changes everything.

The problem is not ā€œopening phone.ā€
The problem is how and why you did it.

Now let me say what some people won’t say.

If you feel the need to secretly investigate your spouse every night, the problem may be deeper than the phone.

Marriage is not CID office.

Trust is cheaper than data subscription.

However, If there is serious suspicion involving crime, fraud, or danger, the matter changes legally.

So no, marriage is not a licence to invade privacy.
Ring is not a search warrant.

If you receive an unexpected money from someone you don't know.

And few minutes later someone calls and said:

ā€œIt was a mistake. Send it to this account. Keep your percentage.ā€

SEND IT BACK AND TAKE 10% of the moneyā€,DON’T TRY IT.

You have just met money launderers looking for a volunteer.

Don’t transfer anything.

Ask them to get a court order for the bank to reverse it properly.

Still email your bank. Still print the evidence.

If you help them move the money and investigation starts, you will explain tire.

Freedom is more valuable than any ā€œcommission/10 percent.ā€

Greed has sent many people to eat free watery beans in detention.

Not every alert is a blessing. Some alerts are tests.

Be wise.

ACTUALLY, I MUST BE CRITICIZED

There is a clear difference between criticism and defamation. Criticism is necessary: my voice, like any person or institution that holds influence or power, should be held accountable and kept in check. But some of you blur the line between critiquing my actions or words and spreading false, damaging claims. In the heat of the moment, don’t cross boundaries that could force you into a defensive position. I may be able to shrug it off today, but that may not always be the case. TELL YOUR WIFE YOUR ATM PASSWORD.
TELL YOUR HUSBAND YOUR ACCOUNT PASSWORD.

Stop hiding it. Marriage is not a secret society.

Nobody knows tomorrow.

If something happens today, hospital emergency, accident, sudden illness(God forbid) will your wife be running from bank to bank begging?

Will your husband be stranded while money is sitting inside an account he cannot access?

That money is not for decoration.

It is for your family.

Some people have lost husbands suddenly and could not even buy food because they didn’t know account details.

Some wives have been in emergency rooms while their husbands were looking for ATM cards like lost passports.

Listen carefully.

Privacy is different from secrecy.

If you are married, you should not be a financial mystery.

I am not saying remove wisdom.

I am saying remove unnecessary secrecy.

If your husband is responsible, tell him.

If your wife is responsible, tell her.

Marriage is partnership, not password protection.

You may trust your bank app more than your spouse, but your bank app will not stand beside you in ICU.

Think about it.

My dear ladies, a husband does not only need hips and lipstick.

A husband needs a wife who is:

1. Intellectually sound, so you can discuss ideas, not only outfits.

2. Emotionally sound, so when he breaks down, you can lift him up.

3. Mentally sound, so you can think through problems together.

4. Spiritually sound, so you can pray when business is shaking.

5. Physically sound, so you both can enjoy good health and good marriage.

A husband needs a wife who can help him run his business with ideas, encourage him when things are tough, and give him sense when he is confused.

Beauty is good. Very good.

But beauty without depth is decoration.

Before you add more to your hips, add more to your mind and brain.

Before you change your hair, upgrade your thinking.

Men marry beauty. They stay for wisdom.

Beauty will attract him. But intelligence will keep him.

Side Chick Can Be Sued.

Yes! The side chick can be sued.

Dear wives,

If your husband is busy with another woman, who is
taking his time, attention, or money.

Calm down and sue her.

The law says, she can be held responsible for:

1. Emotional stress she caused you
2. Family disruption or breaking peace in your home.

Court can make her pay heavily for all of it.

So, before you think ā€œit’s just a small affair,ā€
remember, side chicks can land in court too.

Side chicks are not above the law.

If your husband dey chase another woman,
no carry f!ght for street. Court sabi. Court go talk.

Let the law deal with her on your behalf, you will cash out massively.

Side chicks are not above the law.

Be careful with people who are suicidal. Let me explain.

1. They still show up. To work. To school. To family events. And then collapse when they’re finally alone.

2. They listen to everyone else’s problems, but feel like a burden for having their own.

3. Their laughter sounds real, but it’s often a shield they’ve perfected over time.

4. They don’t always want to die—they just want the pain, the noise, the heaviness to stop.

5. They function well enough that people assume they’re fine, so no one looks closer.

6. They may give hope to others while quietly losing it themselves.

7. Their hardest moments happen in silence—late at night, in the shower, during the drive home.

8. They don’t always say ā€œI’m suicidal.ā€ Sometimes they say ā€œI’m tired,ā€ ā€œI’m empty,ā€ or nothing at all.

9. They apologize for existing, for needing reassurance, for taking up space.

10. They survive the day for others—but don’t know how to live it for themselves.

So when we say
check on people,
don’t make it a slogan.

Sit with them.
Ask twice.
Listen without fixing.
Stay longer than feels comfortable.

Because the people who seem ā€œstrong,ā€ ā€œokay,ā€ or ā€œused to itā€
are often the ones fighting the hardest battles in silence.

And silence can be dangerous—but connection saves lives. šŸ’›

Being a single mother🤱 is not by choice but a painful bullet shot by life... No woman wishes to carry all the burdens alone....every woman wants to sleep off every night while resting her gentle head on the chest of a good man... a single mum is a warrior who deserves a medal.... They don't deserve stigma and ill treatment from men and fortunate married women... They are not toys to toll around by young men and married men.... Their hearts deserve not to be broken again by Men.... Their kids interest should be respected..... Every single mother deserves respect
