Hydroquinone Do's and Dont's

✅️ Treats Melasma and severe hyperpigmentation.
✅️ Apply ONLY on the affected areas as Hydroquinone works by lightening darkened areas.
✅️Always use sunscreen whilst using Hydroquinone. It makes the skin photo sensitive.
✅️Can be used daily only in the PM Routine only on affected areas.
✅️ To avoid rebound hyperpigmentation after discontinuing HQ, maintain your skin with milder brightening ingredients e.g vitamin x, tranexemic acid, alpha arbutin etc
❌️Do not use in day time routine
❌️Do not use prescription strength (4% and above ) while pregnant
❌️This is a treatment so it is not to be used for long term use. Can be used for 2-4 months continously then take a break from use to avoid thining of the skin.

Tretinoin Does and Don'ts......

✅️ Start with a lower strength when starting your tretinoin journey.
✅️ Use only in the PM Routine 2-3 times a week
✅️ Use only a pea sized amount and apply a thin layer to the affected area on dry throughly cleansed skin followed by a moisturizer .
✅️ To avoid flaking and peeling ,use the sandwich method apply...
i.e Moisturizer first ➡️ Tretinoin➡️Moisturizer
✅️ Always apply SPF while using tretinoin.

❌️ Not Suitable for Use by Pregnant and Nursing mothers. It is teratogenic.
❌️ Do not use in am routine .
