The Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) mourns the passing of Solomon "Soxman" Moyo, a dedicated volunteer presenter at Lotsha FM Community Radio Station.
We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Lotsha FM community during this difficult time.

The Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe is pleased to announce the appointment of Engineer Matthias Chakanyuka as its Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2026.
Eng. M. Chakanyuka highlights the importance of responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) use, emphasizing the need to safeguard against misinformation and disinformation in the digital space. He further underscores the importance of developing locally driven AI solutions that address our unique needs and context.
These key insights were shared at the Annual Broadcasters Conference 2026, held at the National University of Science and Technology.
