An injury can take you away from running, but it doesn’t have to take away the runner in you. ❤️🏃🏾♀️
Today, I finally got back out there after being sidelined by an injury. Putting my running shoes back on and hitting the road felt like more than just a run — it felt like getting a little piece of myself back.
It was tough, but I showed up and that was enough.Sometimes it’s not about the pace. It’s about showing up for yourself. Slow doesn’t mean you’re going backwards. Sometimes slow is simply what moving forward looks like.
One run at a time. One step at a time. No pressure at all, I'm just grateful to be moving again.
The comeback may be slow, but I’m back in the game. 🏃🏾♀️🔥

Yooh nje nothing humbles you like owning workout equipment at home because there’s literally NO excuse.
No gym membership, no travelling, no waiting for equipment, just you… your dumbbells… and your extremely creative excuses. 😭💀
My dumbbells watching me run 20km but struggle to lift them for 20 minutes:
Which one are you: cardio or weights?

Apparently 1 minute = 60 seconds… unless you’re doing a plank. Then it’s approximately 47 hours. 😭😂

❌ Myth: “Carbs make you fat.”
✅ Truth: Carbs don’t automatically cause weight gain. Eating more calories than your body needs consistently is what drives weight gain.Sweet potatoes, potatoes, oats, rice, fruit and whole grains can absolutely fit into a healthy diet.
POV: I was only trying to take a peaceful selfie at Vic Falls Bridge… nobody warned me the shoulder was going to steal the show. 😭😂💪🏾

If this video can make you laugh AND motivate you to take a 20-minute walk tomorrow, then our embarrassing behaviour has served a purpose. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🫣

On this day, my soul almost left my body! 🤣🫣
30 November 2025 — Kamandama Marathon, Hwange. The day before, I had done the Nyaradzo 26km walk, slept for just an hour, then caught a bus to Hwange for the race. 😭😂
Looking back… WHAT was I thinking?! And the woman behind me... I wonder what she was looking at 😅😅😅
