al Abriyeen or Misfah al Abriyeen is a village in the wilayah of Al Hamra in Oman 🇴🇲

Located in an oasis at 900 metres (3,000 ft) above sea level in the Western Hajar mountains, it has an extensive falaj water canalization system which dates back more than 2,000 years.

It is still in use nowadays to supply the village with water from a local spring, and to irrigate the terraced fields where crops such as mangoes, pomegranates, figs, and olives are grown.

The settlement is perched on a rock, which acts as a natural fortification, and is characterized by narrow stone-paved roads and houses built with mud, stone and sarooj. Several of the buildings that are still standing date back more than 200 years this place gives us total vintage and slow life village vibes.

🫶 I fell in love with the authentic taste of the Andhra food they are serving at this place, reminded me of my mother. The pulao as good as mixed with balanced spices along with mothers love !

Sankranti set an authentic menu along with reasonable prices and excellent quality and not to forget excellent hospitality. The staff treat every customer with smile and they wait patiently until we place order. Totally fell in love with the taste. Must visit!

✨ Highly recommend this place for authentic taste, worth to wait for an hours to taste this delicious food 🍱

✨ The waiting time is more but the taste of the authentic dishes like Podi dosa, Idli,vada and filter coffee are at its best with the quality, quantity and the reasonable prices.

I highly recommend kumbakonam cafe located at Khālidīyah mall as it having a sufficient seating to wait and eat.

From last one year, I started witnessing a beautiful butterfly fluttering through my garden—nature’s reminder of growth, patience, and the magic of second chances. A year ago, I stopped killing caterpillars, letting them take their time and space. Watching this butterfly, I realized how these small decisions can lead to incredible beauty.
