Adding color to already pigmented lips is simply a recipe for disaster!
Dark areas will just get darker and the un even tone will be even more visible than before!
In some cases the client will even end up with purplish bluish grey-ish spots here and there!

Handling Dark Lips has its own theory and needs specialized training and knowledge to achieve great results.

If your artist is not well trained to lighten ( neutralize) your lips before applying any color, then you are better off leaving your lips alone until you find the right person to handle them 🤞🏻
