BWRT® and Anxiety

Disclaimer: we are not a medical organisation and do not in any way offer to diagnose, treat or cure any physical illness, working only with the psychological aspect of any condition.

This site is specifically about BWRT® and Anxiety
You can discover more information on our main site at https://www.bwrt-professionals.com

Anxiety takes many forms and seems to be on the increase these days - it can be triggered by all sorts of things such as money problems, illness, moving house, new neighbours, retirement, leaving university... and a whole lot of other issues as well.

But perhaps the biggest problem is what to do about it! Medication can help, of course, but wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to cope with the stresses and strains of life without having to pop a pill (or three) every day? Well, with the 'new kid on the block' (launched in 2013) therapy that is BWRT® that's now possible. BWRT® stands for BrainWorking Recursive Therapy, a relatively new model of therapy based in neuroscience - and it's super-fast!

In fact, many of our practitioners claim it to be the fastest and most effective therapy they have ever encountered. So much so, that therapists including psychologists and psychiatrists are using it to help people cope easily with all forms of anxiety including such issues as:

Fears and Phobias
Social inhibition
Divorce proceedings
Bullying in the workplace
Relationship difficulties
Career issues
PTSD*
Bereavement*
Genralised Anxiety Disorder*
'*'indicates that you will need to have had a medical consultation for those conditions before our practitioners are allowed to work with you, after which BWRT® can be employed straight away.

Why we have it

Rather oddly, we are actually 'designed' to have anxiety, though it should arise only when absolutely necessary to keep us safe by recognising a threat. It's an ancient instinct, and if our earliest ancestors hadn't had it you wouldn't be here reading this! Sometimes, though, it 'fires up' when there really isn't any need to and by the time we're aware of it, it's already in full swing - it always starts before we know about it, in a part of the brain we don't have any conscious control over... and that's exactly where BWRT® does its work. And there's not another therapy in the world that works in the same way.

A speedy 'fix'

It might sound complicated but you certainly don't get 'stuck in therapy' with BWRT® because it takes far fewer sessions than most of the older styles of working - in fact, sometimes just a single session can resolve a problem somebody might have had for years. And yes, we do know that sounds just too good to be true... but it is true! Most problems are dissolved with between one and four sessions (and sessions usually last for between 60 and 90 minutes.)

Gone are the days when you would have to commit to repeated trips to a therapist's office for as long as it took - anxiety problems generally melt away very quickly with BWRT®. Not only that, many practitioners work online via Skype or similar, so that means you can even have this therapy in the comfort of your own home if you prefer.

BWRT® might be speedy, but it's no ordinary 'quick fix' - this is one that lasts!

Irish School Ditches Homework For One Month, Assigns 'Acts of Kindness' Instead 07/02/2020

I often include random acts of kindness as part of the homework my clients do between sessions, along with other things like journalling and positive affirmations. There's been studies done that confirm the effectiveness of those acts in tackling depression. I'm sure not only the community but children themselves will benefit from this wonderful program.
