Sometimes life doesn’t ask — it decides.

If you’re a parent of a child with additional needs, you know how quickly everything can shift. One moment you’re coping… the next you’re re-evaluating everything — priorities, routines, support, and where home needs to be.

For us, the answer became clear. Moving back to London was about giving our child the best chance to thrive.
So we packed up in three weeks and started again.

Any regrets? None.
Because when your child needs you, you rise — every single time.

As we step into a new year, I’m choosing hope. More smiles, more laughter, and fresh beginnings. Leaving the heaviness of last year behind and moving forward with intention.

Reflecting on my weight loss journey over the last 10 years, I barely recognize myself, even in photos. I don’t often talk about how it all started, because like many others who have struggled with weight, there were a lot of uncomfortable emotions before realizing I needed to make a change.

For most of my adult life, I’ve been on some sort of diet, but thankfully, the past couple of years have brought me to a place of maintenance.

Here’s what’s worked for me:
• Small, consistent changes
• Listening to my body & mind when I’m hungry
• Avoiding binge eating
• Practicing portion control
• Lots of walking

It’s been a long journey, and while it’s not always easy, I’m committed to maintaining my progress. For anyone who has battled weight gain, you know it can be a tough road, but I hope sharing my journey helps! 💪✨
