Luminous Takes

Do you like soft white nails with a glossy jelly-like look? I love them. And I have been on the hunt for the perfect shade for ages. Yet, my previous attempts to find the perfect shade have all ended in disappointment. Too yellowish, too pinkish, too opaque, or too transparent... You catch my drift. A complete disaster.

During my last shopping at YesStyle I took a chance on the brand I hadn't seen around before, .a_global (Little did I know at the time it was a part of the iconic .altheaglobal).

Returning to my story, the shade SE23 Dewy Jasmine captured my attention immediately. It has a creamy texture that just glides on. It leaves a glossy, jelly-like finish that is beautiful in the light. The brish is perfect - not too wide, not too narrow. 2-3 layers of polish give me the desired look (check out my day 3 wear, with top coat). Dries pretty fast too.

on my last dropper of .global Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop 💦

.official was my first Korean brand. Mom brought bunch of their sheet masks and miniatures for me to try and nudged me to start exploring K-Beauty way before it flooded the Western market.

Now, years later, I pop open the improved version of the brand's classic: Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule 5x. Ten fermented ingredients for healthy skin barrier, same scent as in the past. It is, somewhat, a walk down the memory lane.

SUQQU Signature Color Eyes 149 SHUNKA made my heart skip a beat the moment I saw the announcement of Euphoria of Light 2025 Collection.

Top left sparkly shade makes me think of crushed icicles and snowflakes. Walking across untouched snow and watching it sparkle under the rays of winter sun. The ultimate feel and look of winter.
Top right shimmery lilac is perfectly cool-toned, like the petals of winter flower, touched by the frost.
Bottom left matte lilac shade ties the colour story together and can wash the skin with a hint of watercolour or build up to stronger look.
Bottom right is shifty: cool-toned bronze base mixed with blue sparkles delivers deep grape colour that shifts into rich cool brown. It definitely has a foil feel on the skin.

SHUNKA belongs perfectly with another limited edition palette from SUQQU - 137 HANAMATOME. I have included swatch comparisons of the bottom row. While both are gorgeous, SHUNKA's formula feels more buttery and smooth. I hope the brand will have more permanent cool-toned lilac/pink palettes and not just limited-edution ones.

Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Active Berry First Essence

The texture is viscous, nearly gel like with pink berry capsules, effortlessly melts into the skin and delivers long lasting moisturizing and glow. Perfect pick me up after hot shower, allowing at times to skip moisturizer 🤭

Has a well-rounded ingredients list:
🍇for soothing: centella asiatica
🍇for moisturizing: fig fruit extract, diglycerin, fructoolygosaccharides, beta-glucan, betaine, collagen, squalane, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, ceramide np, sodium hyaluronate
🍇for antioxidant properties: grape seed oil and resveratrol

Contains natural fragrance from a mix of oils (rose geranium, lavender, chamomile, orange peel), which i find enjoyable.

I tend to enjoy products and this one was another win 💜

SUQQU - MOISTURE GLAZE LIPSTICK in 00 SUMIREMITSU is part of 2025 Holiday Collection - Euphoria of Light

The case is a gorgeous limited-edition white with polarized pearls that shift from pink to green, as they catch the glimmers of light. It can be reused later with another refill, which is lovely.

The new shade is clear (as stated by the brand), but a part of me was hoping to see a bit of colour payoff from the delicate cool pink stick 😅. I hope will create this colour next 🤩

The lipstick glides on effortlessly, giving off a smooth and rich glossy veil. The glazed donut effect is here. It blurs out and smooths vertical lines and dryness, providing both moisturizing and beautification 🤩

Disappointing. This is my one word opinion of Nourishing Body Oil. If you are not the TLDR kind of person, here is my scoop.

It starts off pretty good: the packaging looks so bright and punchy, the plastic feel is nice and velvety. Aaaand then the pump isnt smooth and just spits the product. Alright, been there, not the end of the world, as long as the product is great.

The oil texture is almost jelly like, it is thick and doesnt spill around. The ingredient list is packed with nourishing oils and ceramide np for that much needed barrier support. Not big on the intense fragrance that lingers all day and starts annoying pretty fast.

The worst is yet to come 😒
I have dry body skin that loves body oils. Except this one. No matter how little I applied, how long I have waited, there was a sticky oily layer that refused to absorb. The oil just sat on my skin, as greasy as upon the application. I gave it several chances, but this might be the worst product of 2025 on my personal list :) Straight to the bin.

I dont know about you, but my trust in affiliate marketing/gifted collabs "reviews" is gone. Too many requirements for gushing reviews, guidelines and little space for honesty. We all deserve better.

Meteorites Base Anti-Dullness Perfecting Pearls ✨️

Simmery pink pearls swim in clear gel and turn into gorgeous glowy primer upon press of the pump. Despite containing silicone, the primer is lightweight, spreads on skin effortlessly and absorbs very fast.

I like wearing it by itself, enjoying the subtle glow it gives to the skin. The Base absorbs some of the sebum produced throughout the day and slightly evens skin texture. Under the foundation the glow turns down a notch, but definitely contributes to makeup longevity.

Part of the iconic Meteorites range, this primer has the same delicate powdery fragrance as the original Meteorites and I love it!
